'Maska' Â A Sensational Sankranthi hit

MS Raju, the Sankranthi specialist has hit the target once again with 'Maska'. The sensational hit of this festive season, the movie has collected a revenue share of 2 crore and 25 lakhs in just a day's time, as reported by K. Vijay Bhaskar, GM of Suresh Movies, distributors of the movie.
The maker of mega hit Sankranthi releases like 'Shathruvu', 'Okkadu', 'Varsham' and 'Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana', M.S. Raju didn't fail this time. Instead, he gave one more super hit which does justice to his name of Makara Sankranthi Raju.
The film released with about 300 prints, which includes 225 within Andhra Pradesh in 303 theatres, has collected 2 Crores and 25 lakhs in one day of its screening exclusively in Andhra Pradesh and has topped the list of Sankrathi releases.
'Maska' which was released in, 5 theatres in Rajhamundry, 5 theaters in Kakinada, 5 theaters in Karnool, 6 theaters in Vijayawada, 4 theatres in Nellore, has created record collections in these cinema halls. Interestingly, around 7 lakhs of people watched 'Maska' on its first day of release exclusively in AP itself.
'Maska' is also one of the biggest openings in Ram's movies and has made the highest collections compared to his previous flicks. Director B. Gopal has added one more hit to his sleeve this Sankranthi.
